Made from the third harvest of the renowned Yabukita and Saemidori cultivars, this hōjicha offers a naturally sweet and earthy taste. Hōjicha is a Japanese green tea known for its unique roasting process, which gives it a warm, toasty flavor and a distinct aroma. Unlike matcha, hōjicha is roasted at high temperatures, transforming the leaves from their vibrant green to a beautiful reddish-brown. This roasting process reduces the tea’s caffeine content, so you can drink it any time of the day.

Our partner farm in Uji follows traditional and environmentally respectful farming practices, certified under Japan’s JAS standard — comparable to EU organic standards. It’s as good for you as it is for the planet.
